On Tuesday 19 February, Wolverhampton Development Company (WDC) celebrated its launch with an official opening at the city's historic Chubb building. The event was opened by the Chairman of WDC, Graham Mackenzie and the Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor Trudy Bowen.
As well as a chance to meet the WDC team and hear about the company's plans for Wolverhampton, Iain Wright MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State of the Department for Communities and Local Government, attended as guest speaker and gave his support.
WDC Chairman Graham Mackenzie commented: "We were delighted to have the opportunity to introduce Wolverhampton Development Company to so many guests at such an exciting time for the city. We have hit the ground running and are looking forward to helping Wolverhampton realise its full potential.
