Projects
Our most important task is to help attract and grow businesses to create 20,000 new jobs by 2026.
Two crucial elements are required to achieve this: the delivery of a significant amount of enhanced commercial space in the city centre. And secondly, the successful development of i54, the 226-acre flagship project at the city's Northern Gateway.
Planning
We’ll also be undertaking an assessment of the city centre office market, producing masterplans for Stafford Road Corridor and the Canalside Quarter and contributing to the preparation of economic development and transport infrastructure plans.
In parallel, we’ll be working closely with our new and existing partners to lever in more than £500m of private sector investment over the next few years.
Promotion
Our aim is to accelerate the growth of the knowledge-based economy, expanding office, retail and leisure offerings in Wolverhampton. We will stimulate the development of high quality housing for high income employees, and create a better future for all.
