WCC 'victorious' against HSE

05 Nov 2009

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has lost its legal challenge against the granting of planning permission for Victoria Hall, a £40m student village in Wolverhampton.

The HSE went to London's High Court last month complaining it had not been kept properly informed before Wolverhampton Council granted planning permission for the scheme.  The judge, however, said the HSE had been aware of the planning permission for seven months before taking court action.
